Roshanak is an Iranian born visual artist who works in painting, drawing, photography, film and animation. She is currently living and working in New York, New Jersey and Iran.

While obtaining a medical degree from New York University, she also pursued her passion for art, studying at the Art Students League and National Academy Studio Schools in New York, as well as the Montclair Museum Yard School of Art in New Jersey. In 2011, she pursued a certificate in film at the New School of Media Studies.

Roshanak is an Iranian visual poet who uses drawing, painting, and photography, to create surreal films and animations inspired by her Persian heritage.

Roshanak has directed and produced over 20 short films and 8 animations since 2012. Roshanak's paintings, drawings and films have been exhibited in numerous galleries and film festivals such as Aljira Gallery, Studio Montclair, Athens Film Festival, Kasseler Dokfest Film Festival, Cannes Short Corner, Anthology Film Archives and Bowery Gallery.
